September: 2018: GBM obtains the certification ISO 9001:2015. What does it mean?

From its foundation in 1947 until today, the ISO, International Organization for Standardization, has issued several regulations universally known as the worldwide “top” to set technical rules.

These rules deal with every industrial process, from very specific branch to wide-raging areas. But no one of these has a wider and more varied setting than the ISO 9001 and, at the same time, a very unique specificity.

What is the certification ISO 9001?

It is the most rigorous and important international standard for the evaluation of a Company; it is based on the definition of requirements for an organization’s quality management system with the particular purpose to obtain the best satisfaction from the final consumer, or rather the customers of the Company which obtained this certification.

The key point that defines this quality management system does not concern only the basic competences of the Company, but also its will and its ability to react to the changes and the accidents of the competitive system in which it occurs.

This regulation was issued for the first time in 1987 and it is subjected to several periodical adjustments in order to keep the highest quality standard. In fact, one of the characteristic of the ISO 9001 is to be “alive”, as meaning that not only it portrays a Company in a particular period, but it also checks its progress and evolution continuously.

Compared to some other regulations issued by the International Organization for Standardization, the peculiar aspect of the ISO 9001 is to guarantee the accomplishment of customers’ expectations and its continuous improvement.

Who issued the certification ISO 9001 to GBM Building?

The certification of conformity ISO 9001 has been issued by Bureau Veritas Italia. As a third-party independent body born in 1828, Bureau Veritas occurs in more than 140 countries in the world with a network of more than 75.000 employees.

This is a worldwide leader group in the area of verification, evaluation and analysis of risks for Quality, Health, Safety, Environment and Social Accountability (QHSE-SA).
